Midwest Community Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the appointment of Josh Koenig to President & CEO, after the departure of longtime CEO Sonja Delaney. Koenig was previously the Vice President of Technology for 2 and a half years.
The Board of Directors was looking for the right leader to boldly blaze a trail for Midwest Community into the future of the financial services industry. Josh Koenig is the leader who stood out among all others.
He brings a wealth of knowledge about financial industry technology to the position, something the board thinks will serve him well.
“Josh has the vision and grasp of technology necessary to maneuver the credit union through the growing technology boom. Even better, Josh has embraced the credit union philosophy and is committed to continuing Midwest’s commitment to build financial health for our members and the communities in our six-county service area,” Delaney said.
Josh embodies the essence of a servant leader – he is humble, honest and committed to our credit union, members and staff. We are excited to have Josh as our new President/CEO and look forward to the future he will help build for Midwest Community.
